Happy 4 Years!

Clay and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the 19th

and he surprised me with THIS:

I've been wanting a wedding band to go with my ring for a while now. He saved up for this without my knowledge (I do the finances) and totally surprised me... that's the be part of all of it. The cute thing was that he hid it in the fish tank under the "no fishing" sign for over a week. He gave me clues and I had to Hunt for my anniversary present which I knew nothing about. It was a fun little adventure. I love my husband so much and all that he is striving to do and become in this life. He is an amazing man and I'm really grateful for him as well as all that marriage has taught me so far...

All caught up...

Sorry to whoever follows my blog. I am a horrible blogger when I get busy... In the past few months we have moved, had a few birthdays, and had company... See below blogs for details and pictures. I now have Wednesday's off, so maybe I'll have more time to keep this thing up to date.

We went bowling with our Friends, Heather and Josh. This was Maizyn's first time and she LOVED it! We all had a great time!

Happy 60th Daddy-o!!

"I'm diggin those Good Vibrations!"

I took my Dad to the Beach boys concert for his 60th Birthday. It was so fun to have a little Daddy/Daughter date. I can't remember the last time I had one of those with just the 2 of us. I think he had a good time too, even though we were in the nosebleed section and he was watching with his binoculars the whole time!

A funny story that is the epitome of "Dad":

We got there a little bit early ( I think there was a misprint on our tickets ) Well, it was a Children's Hospital Benefit concert, which was actually really cool to see all that goes into the hospital, but thats another story. Well, we went to find something to eat and saw that there was a buffet, so my Dad's like "Come on, lets go get some", I was hesitant because it looked like this was an "exclusive party" which it was. Turns out this little buffet with Prime Rib and all the good eats ( that were free ) was actually for the employees and Fundraising guilds that worked for Children's. Well, my Dad decides to eat it anyways... We shared a table with some nice people that were apparently pretty important, they asked my Dad why he was there, his reply " I just bought some tickets to come see the Beach Boys"... I was mortified. We left soon after that to find our nosebleed seats and watch the concert with binoculars. Love ya Dad. This was a memory made. :)
