A big Hit and a Loud BOOM.

Yesterday was a hectic day for us... well mostly for little Maizyn. I dropped her off with my in-laws so they could watch her while I was at work. Well about 2 hours after getting to work, I get a call from my Mother in law crying saying - We've been in a car accident and you need to come. Maizyn is ok, but meet us at the hospital. Ahh! My heart sunk. I dropped everything and immediately left work. Maizyn and my Mother in law were ok, but my father in law was hurt - so they took him in the ambulance to the hospital... In the end he just had some major abrasions and bruises... but it was sure a scary thing to hear. Maizyn got a little bruise on her head and arm from the airbags. She was frightened more than anything. I'm so glad everyone is ok. I know she is going to be pretty sore today, but I'll take it as long as my little girl is safe. She keeps telling me, " It was a big hit Mommy, it was a loud BOOM ." Poor thing. These are the things that make me cherish what I have so much more. I'm so grateful for my daughter and don't know what I'd do if anything did happen to her. Here is a picture of her and Papa Steve zonked out after a crazy day!

Clay had a Birthday!

For Clay's Birthday we took off and went camping for a few nights over on Lake Wenatchee last weekend. We left Maizyn with my Mother-in law at the last minute because I was so stressed about taking her and having her be freezing. It was a good thing too because she had the time of her life and this was the first time since she was born that we have left her for more than one night. It was needed. Needless to say, this was Clay's dream. I got him a fishing license and some tackle gear for his birthday and his Step Father got him a brand new - very nice fishing pole. He was ecstatic! We rented a boat on Fish Lake and spent a few hours soaking up the sun... I caught the only fish and I'm proud of it! :) Overall it was a great time and I'm glad we went. Happy Birthday Clay. I hope you enjoyed yourself this year. Thank you for being my husband! Loves!!
