The New place...

Since we've moved into our new place in Issaquah, I've been having fun painting the walls and decorating. I was actually kind of proud of my accomplishments considering the fact that I wasn't too thrilled about this new apartment in the beginning... its a bit older and more run down than the last place, but it works for now and I'm very pleased with what I've done with it so far! :) Here's a few pics of my accomplishments:

Maizyn's 2nd Birthday!

I'm finally managing to get a post up about Maizyn's 2nd birthday party. We had a great time with family and friends at Marymoore park. Thanks everyone that came and participated! It was a lot of fun! Maizyn sure has lots of people that love her and she absolutely LOVED her Birthday! She kept looking around wondering why almost everyone she loved in her life was all in the same place with her! What a great time!
I decided to do this slide show style because there were so many pictures. Enjoy...

Summer!

Wow, It's been a long time since I've updated this. Well, lots has happened since I last updated this. My family and I went to Longbeach while Kailey and James were in town for a little "reunion"with the entire Glauser family!! It was lots of fun and Maizyn sure loved to hang out with her cousins. She is growing up fast and her 2nd Birthday is in less than 2 weeks! I can't believe she is that old. It's amazing how fast time goes sometimes.

We also moved to Issaquah at the end of July. We moved downtown - close to the Library and Salmon hatchery. It's interesting to be back in my home town, but I think it is a good change. We have been painting and updating our apartment and making it look a little nicer. It is definitely nice to have a second bedroom for Maizyn. She loves it too. I just can't believe how much stuff we have acquired in just 3 years of Marriage! Our neighbors are amazing and we are already great friends with them, it is also much closer to my family and to my nanny job. Here's Maizyn jumping on her new "big girl" bed with Elmo. She LOVES it and has really become attached to Elmo too. Look how cute her new bedroom is! :)

Maizyn and I went to Utah a few weekend ago for a quick trip for my cousin's wedding. It was lots of fun to hang out with the family and to be with Lindsey one last time before she lef ton her mission for our church to Richmond, Virginia. She will be gone for 18 months we will miss her so much! Maizyn has already been asking about her and wants her Lindsey! ( She's finally learned to say "lisey" now that she is gone, she has been calling her "Maizyn" because she couldn't say her name) Here's some cute pictures at Temple Square.

Fourth of July Fun!

Happy Independence Day!

We had a great 4th of July. Maizyn and I went to a barbeque with my family while Clay was working, but the minute he got off work, we headed to Seattle to watch the Fireworks at Gasworks park. It was a lot of fun and Maizyn was entranced by the fireworks.

Daddy Daughter Pics... these turned out really cute!
Clay was sick of me taking so many pics!

We also got a new grill that Clay got a GREAT deal on because he works at Home Depot. This fell out of someone's truck so they took it back to the store, the only thing wrong with it was the bottom was cracked. EASY FIX for Mr. Handyman Clay! :) We got this $600 barbeque for $25!!! :) Pretty freaking awesome if you ask me! Maizyn loved it too! She was literally pushing this cart all by herself! Strong girl.

Enjoying a Fudgecicle on a hot summer day! Good thing Mommy remembered to take her clothes off and put her in the high chair so she could be as messay as she wanted!

Just running around the grass.

These are Maizyn's twin cousin's Eva and Mya... they are darling huh! Maizyn LOVES them! She calls both of them Mya ( the Mya and the Mya ) and always says . " Mom, I want the Mya! "

These next pictures were at another cousin's birthday party on the other side of the Family. Fun times!

Papa and Grandma Carpenter!

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th! I am so greatful to live in this country and to have the freedom that we so take for granted. We are truly blessed!
