New Computer Armoire

YAY! We finally got a new Computer Armoire. We have had an old desk that I have despised since we got it because it always looks like such a mess, even when it is clean. You can see how much better it looks in comparison - the old desk is in the background of some of my previous posts. SO excited and I love it. Thanks Craigslist! ... it was only $20!

No we just have to figure out what to do with the HUGE printer that Clay's brother gave us. For now, its on top, because that's where it fits.

Daddy Daughter

Maizyn has become quite Daddy's little Princess these days. Even if he is more of the diciplinarian of the 2 of us, she loves her Daddy! Here they are having fun together.

If you notice in these pictures Maiziyn is wearing a dress in all of them. This is her new thing, she will not wear pants anymore, even though it is FREEZING outside. Luckily we have some warm tights to put on underneath, but when we're at home, she thinks it's summer and has to wear her dress so she can dance like a Princess all day long.

Heather's is tomorrow, and Kailey's was actually last week, but our internet has been down for a few days, soo.... a tribute to both of them!

I love them both so much and am greatful that they are not only my sisters, but also my friends. Kailey just announced to the family that she is coming home from Germany after being there for almost 3 years in July! We are sooo excited and can't wait to play. Heather lives 5 minutes up the hill from me, and we see eachother at least once a week. It has been fun to have her here with her family and I'm greatful for her. Love you sisters! Hope you have GREAT Birthdays! This is Heather's Golden 30th!!! A big one! :)

1910-2008

President Gordon B. Hinkley, the modern day Prophet and President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, passed away on Sunday night. I felt like a Family member had died because all of his talks and messages have been so Spiritual, personal, and witty, and I felt he was talking directly to me at times. The past few days I have been reading news articles and tributes about him as well as listening to his most recent Conference talks. I am saddened by his death, but also very joyful and excited for him because I know he is with his sweet Marjorie.

What a welcoming in Heaven he must have had!!! I feel honored to live in this dispensation and especially during the time he was the Prophet. He was an amazing man and led our Church with such unparallell greatness. Here is a link to an article that I particularly liked in honor of him:

FINALLY

A blog that I like! I am always changing my blog colors and trying to find some style that reflects me and that I like... I think this is my favorite so far. I'm sure I'll get sick of it and change it soon... its just how I am, until then, this is "me" for the moment. :)

2008 Elections

Since the last Presidential Election, my life has definately changed, as well as some of my views. I found this site on a friends blog and went and did the survey. It was really interesting. I didn't know what a few of the issues even meant, so it was really cool just to become more knowledgeable on them, and find out what issues were important to me. Even if the person I'm planning on voting for wasn't my "top" pick for this survey, it was still kinda cool to become informed. Become informed and vote people!

NEW

New year, New blog, finally! It's a New Year and a fresh start. I'm excited and looking forward to the new year with HOPE. Lot's of goals are set into motion and they are all doable, so I'm hopeful. :)

Little Maizyn is even gettin in on the "New Years Resolutions! " :) I was doing a work out video the other morning and she wanted to join me, so we got her all dressed and ready to go! "Sports Bra" ( bathing suit top ) and all. She was so cute and actually did a good 10 minutes of it with me! It had me laughing. I caught it on camera...

We had some snow here over the past week and we even let Maizyn stay up late to play in it with us. We had a snowball fight with the neighbor boys and had a blast! It was so pretty and I wish we lived where there was more of this wonderful whiteness!
